Builder's Hub
Juan José Ruiz Ferrer
Software Engineer, Builder & Technical Leader
I build practical software, lead technical teams, and turn hard problems into systems people can trust. This is the hub for my projects, courses, and weekly build notes.
About
I'm Juan José, a Full Stack Developer and Engineering Lead with over 15 years of experience building products for the web.
I've worked with agencies, startups, enterprises, and brands, helping teams turn ideas into digital products that people actually use. I enjoy the whole process: understanding the problem, shaping the product, writing clean code, and building systems that can grow without becoming impossible to maintain.
I'm currently a Senior Software Engineer at Change.org, where I work with engineering teams on products that help drive social change. Before that, I worked with development teams at Lovevery and Flow.
The tools change, but my focus stays the same: building simple, scalable, maintainable systems that serve real people.
When I'm not coding, I'm usually cooking, playing with my dogs, spending time with my wife and friends, or playing video games. I'm always curious about technology, business, and artificial intelligence, so I tend to have some side project or experiment going on.
I also love baking bread, making nutritious food with a lot of flavor, dialing in better coffee, and discovering music from around the world.
